Chia seed shakes help weight loss clients with vegan protein

We are helping our clients discover the awesome health and weight loss benefits of chia seeds in a high-quality nutritional shake that is chock full of plant-based proteins, has a low-carb count, yet contains no artificial sweeteners like aspartame.

Chia seed was mentioned on Oprah’s radio show with Dr. Bukowski saying “it has nutritional content in it that is really quite remarkable for a single food.”  Chia seeds have high levels of calcium, and are rich in omega-3 fatty acids.  High in fiber, contains iron, magnesium, and is a powerful antioxidant.

We believe in offering high quality nutritional products at the most affordable prices we can.  That's why we have begun offering Life’s Basics Plant Protein, a new line of nutrition products, to our weight loss clients.  It is suitable for diabetics, vegans and vegetarians as well.

Life’s Basics doesn't have the marketing and advertising machine behind it that Medifast does, but we believe this is a superior product in numerous ways.

Life’s Basics, a new weight loss meal replacement shake, is a purer product that exceeds Medifast's nutritional content, we believe. And – it's also more affordable. Life’s Basics tastes great and contains no soy, wheat, dairy or artificial sweeteners, like aspartame.

Since Life’s Basic only contains 5 grams of carbohydrates you can add fresh fruit or berries to create a natural smoothie and still have less carbs than Medifast.

Life’s Basics shakes are made with high quality pea, hemp, chia, and rice protein as opposed to soy protein, the protein in Medifast.

The vitamins and minerals from the product are food based rather than various chemicals to give you a nutritional product.  The result is better absorption and easier on your digestive system.

After considerable research, we have learned that more and more physicians and nutritionists are becoming concerned about over consumption of soy and its potential implications for weight loss. Soy is now widely used in processed foods and a growing body of research suggests that it can impair thyroid function. In addition, we are also concerned about products containing aspartame.

Our clients who've switched from Medifast to Life’s Basics actually report feeling fuller and less hungry later with Life’s Basics.

We are offering Life’s Basics now at an introductory rate at our online store at http://www.naplesfitness.com/catalog

You can use Life’s Basics like you would Medifast. You can have four or five shakes, made with a single scoop of shake mix, a day and then eat a meal with lean protein and vegetables in the evening. Or you can have a double-scoop shake made with 8 oz. of water if your feeling extra hungry. Just don't exceed 4 or 5 scoops of shake mix in a day.

You can even try to use raw milk, yogurt, or coconut milk to create your smoothie.  With weight loss people tend to shy away from fats thinking that is why they are gaining weight.  In most cases your body is not functioning properly from a digestive standpoint that can affect your glucose, insulin, thyroid, and adrenal glands.  Putting a natural fat into your diet not only helps stabilize those levels but helps to curb your appetite and assist in weight loss.

The more a product is processed the more various chemicals and additives are used as stabilizers.  The end result is your digestive tract suffers and diminishes the natural digestive enzymes in the product.  If you want to reduce the fat you can do it naturally by adding water.  If you do not have access to raw milk or yogurt try Seven Farms yogurt or Natural by Nature for other dairy.  They are both pasteurized but at not such high temperatures.
